True Vine, True Branch
Isaiah foresaw a glorious Branch springing from the LORD.
Old Testament
Isaiah 4:2
In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel.
New Testament
John 15:1
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
Why This Matters
Isaiah foresaw a glorious Branch springing from the LORD. Jesus declared Himself the true vine — the living source of fruitfulness. Every branch that remains in Him bears the fruit Isaiah described.
Reflection
Savior, open my eyes to the people around me. As You fulfilled Isaiah 4:2 in John 15:1, make me faithful in small acts of love.
