Lesson 122KingdomProphetic Pattern

Purified for Judgment

Isaiah prophesied God purifying His people by removing all dross.

Old Testament

Isaiah 1:25

I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities.

New Testament

Matthew 25:31

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.

Why This Matters

Isaiah prophesied God purifying His people by removing all dross. Jesus revealed that He would come in glory to separate and purify — the final judgment that removes every impurity from God's kingdom.

Reflection

Lord, the kingdom You promised in Isaiah 1:25 is breaking in through Matthew 25:31. Make me a faithful citizen of that kingdom today.
