Isaiah prophesied new heavens and a new earth where former sorrows vanish.
Old Testament
Isaiah 65:17
See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
New Testament
Revelation 21:1
Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth," for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
Why This Matters
Isaiah prophesied new heavens and a new earth where former sorrows vanish. Revelation shows John seeing this vision fulfilled — the old creation passes away, and everything is made new through Christ.
Reflection
Lord of the future, as I study New Heavens New Earth, anchor my hope not in circumstances but in Your coming reign.
