Lesson 140IdentityDirect Prophecy

Born Before the Pain

Isaiah prophesied a miraculous birth — a son delivered before labor pains.

Old Testament

Isaiah 66:7

Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.

New Testament

Revelation 12:5

She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

Why This Matters

Isaiah prophesied a miraculous birth — a son delivered before labor pains. Revelation identifies this child as the one who rules all nations, snatched to God's throne. The Messiah's birth defied natural order.

Reflection

Lord, as I reflect on Born Before the Pain, make me steady in faith, humble in spirit, and rooted in Your unchanging identity.
