The manna preserved in the ark pointed to Christ, the true bread from heaven.
Old Testament
Exodus 16:33
He said to Aaron, "Take a jar and put an omer of manna in it. Then place it before the LORD to be kept for the generations to come."
New Testament
Revelation 2:17
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna.
Why This Matters
The manna preserved in the ark pointed to Christ, the true bread from heaven. Jesus promises hidden manna to those who overcome — sustenance the world cannot see or take away.
Reflection
King eternal, let the promise in Exodus 16:33 fulfilled in Revelation 2:17 stir in me longing for Your return and the restoration of all things.
