"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,"

Good news to the poor and liberty to captives applied to Messianic era in Talmud
Isaiah described the one anointed by God's Spirit to bring good news to the poor, freedom to the captive, and sight to the blind. In the synagogue at Nazareth, Jesus read this passage aloud and then declared, 'Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.' He was not merely reading a text—he was announcing his mission statement.
Jesus, keep me close to You in service. Let this lesson turn knowledge into prayerful action.
