Old Testament

Psalm 102:25-27

In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.

New Testament

Hebrews 1:10-12

He also says, "In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."

Part 2 - Fill In The Blank
Why This Matters

The psalmist praised God as the Creator who will outlast his own creation—the heavens will wear out like old clothes, but God remains unchanged. Hebrews applies these very words to the Son, declaring Jesus as the unchanging Creator. Everything else ages, fades, and passes away, but Jesus remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Reflection

Jesus, teach me to trust who You are, not just what I feel. Let Psalm 102:25-27 and Hebrews 1:10-12 deepen my confidence in Your name.
