Why This Matters

The psalm envisioned a day when kings from distant lands would bring gifts and bow before Israel's ruler. When the Magi—scholars from the East—arrived with gold, frankincense, and myrrh and fell down to worship the infant Jesus, this royal homage began to be fulfilled.
