Payne #47 — Zech 11:12–13
Thirty pieces of silver; Payne calls this one of the most statistically improbable fulfillments
This lesson explores how Zechariah 11:12 connects to Jesus.
I told them, "If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it." So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.
and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.

The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict • #34 Sold for Thirty Pieces of Silver
Seven precise details fulfilled: friend, 30 pieces, silver, thrown, house of Lord, potter
Zechariah named the exact price at which the good shepherd would be valued: thirty pieces of silver, the price of a slave. Centuries later, Judas received precisely that amount to betray Jesus. The specificity of this detail—down to the exact sum—reveals how thoroughly God foresaw and wove every detail of the Messiah's story.
Lord, where others turned away from You, help me draw nearer. Make my loyalty deeper and my worship truer.
