Thirty pieces thrown to potter; same passage as L14, second half of the fulfillment
This lesson explores how Zechariah 11:13 connects to Jesus.
And the LORD said to me, "Throw it to the potter"—the handsome price at which they valued me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter at the house of the LORD.
So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

Thrown (not placed) into the temple — Matt 27:5 exact fulfillment; also #36 Price Given for Potter's Field
Not only was the betrayal price foretold, but Zechariah also described what would happen to the money: it would be thrown to the potter at the house of the Lord. Matthew records that Judas, overcome with remorse, flung the silver coins into the temple. The chief priests then used the money to buy a potter's field—fulfilling every detail of the ancient prophecy.
Jesus, in seasons of rejection, keep my eyes on Your kingdom and my spirit steady in grace.
