Talmud (Sanh. 97b) — redeemed without price applied to Messiah
This lesson explores how Isaiah 52:3 connects to Jesus.
For this is what the LORD says: "You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed."
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ.

Talmud (Sanh. 97b) — redeemed without price applied to Messiah
Isaiah declared that God's people would be redeemed without money. Peter reveals the currency of that redemption — not silver or gold but the precious blood of Christ. Our freedom was purchased at infinite cost.
Lord Jesus, Your suffering was not wasted. As I read Isaiah 52:3 and 1 Peter 1:18, make me reverent before the cost of my redemption.
