Lesson 159MinistryProphetic Pattern

Greeks Seek Jesus

Zechariah foresaw Gentiles from every nation seeking God through a Jew.

Old Testament

Zechariah 8:23

In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, "Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you."

New Testament

John 12:20

Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival. They came to Philip with a request. "Sir," they said, "we would like to see Jesus."

Why This Matters

Zechariah foresaw Gentiles from every nation seeking God through a Jew. John records Greeks coming to see Jesus — the fulfillment begins. The nations grasp the hem of Christ's robe.

Reflection

Lord, give me courage to speak life, mercy, and hope. Through Greeks Seek Jesus, train my hands and words for Your mission.
