Old Testament
Daniel 12:1
At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.
New Testament
Matthew 24:21
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now — and never to be equaled again.
Why This Matters
Daniel prophesied unprecedented tribulation. Jesus confirmed it — great distress unequaled in history. Both passages point to the same climactic period before God's kingdom is fully established.
Reflection
King Jesus, through Great Tribulation I see that Your reign has no end. Let Daniel 12:1 and Matthew 24:21 lift my eyes to Your eternal throne.
