God setting up a kingdom destroying all others applied to Messianic era in Talmud
Nebuchadnezzar's dream revealed a succession of earthly empires, all crushed by a kingdom set up by God that would never be destroyed.
In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.
The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever."
Nebuchadnezzar's dream revealed a succession of earthly empires, all crushed by a kingdom set up by God that would never be destroyed. Revelation shows the final fulfillment: every kingdom of this world becomes Christ's eternal domain. Human empires rise and crumble, but the kingdom God established through Jesus endures forever—unshakeable and unending.
Lord of the future, as I study God Sets Up a Kingdom, anchor my hope not in circumstances but in Your coming reign.
