David's last words spoke of being exalted by the Most High.
Old Testament
2 Samuel 23:1
These are the last words of David: "The inspired utterance of David son of Jesse, the utterance of the man exalted by the Most High."
New Testament
Luke 1:32
He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.
Why This Matters
David's last words spoke of being exalted by the Most High. Gabriel told Mary her son would be called the Son of the Most High and receive David's throne.
