Bemidbar R. — One from the north stirred up; applied to Messiah
This lesson explores how Isaiah 41:25 connects to Jesus.
I have stirred up one from the north, and he has come — from the rising sun he calls on my name. He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he were a potter treading the clay.
Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."

Bemidbar R. — One from the north stirred up; applied to Messiah
Isaiah spoke of one whom God stirs up — a conqueror who calls on His name. Revelation identifies this conqueror as the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, who alone is worthy to open God's sealed purposes.
Lord, the kingdom You promised in Isaiah 41:25 is breaking in through Revelation 5:5. Make me a faithful citizen of that kingdom today.
