The LORD Reigns
Isaiah foresaw the LORD reigning in glory that outshines the sun and moon.
Old Testament
Isaiah 24:23
The moon will be dismayed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders — with great glory.
New Testament
Revelation 5:13
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"
Why This Matters
Isaiah foresaw the LORD reigning in glory that outshines the sun and moon. Revelation fulfills this with every creature praising the Lamb on the throne — Christ's glory eclipses all creation.
Reflection
King Jesus, through The LORD Reigns I see that Your reign has no end. Let Isaiah 24:23 and Revelation 5:13 lift my eyes to Your eternal throne.
