After Cain murdered Abel, Eve received Seth — a replacement seed through whom the promise would continue. Luke traces Jesus all the way back through Seth to Adam and ultimately to God.
Father, You kept every genealogical promise. Let Genesis 4:25 fulfilled in Luke 3:38 assure me that Your word never fails.
