God promised Abraham that all nations would be blessed through his seed.

The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ.
Why This Matters
God promised Abraham that all nations would be blessed through his seed. Paul identifies this seed as Christ — the singular offspring through whom every nation receives blessing. The Abrahamic covenant finds its fulfillment in Jesus.
