Why This Matters

The psalmist described a stone that builders threw aside as useless, only for it to become the most important stone in the entire structure. Peter boldly told the religious leaders that Jesus was that rejected stone. The very one the authorities discarded became the cornerstone of God's new building—the church. Rejection by human leaders was part of God's design all along.
