Lesson 177MinistryProphetic Pattern

Judge, Lawgiver, King

Isaiah declared God as judge, lawgiver, and king — the one who saves.

Old Testament

Isaiah 33:22

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

New Testament

John 5:30

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

Why This Matters

Isaiah declared God as judge, lawgiver, and king — the one who saves. Jesus exercises all three roles — judging justly, fulfilling the law, and reigning as king — yet always in submission to the Father.

Reflection

Jesus, send me with Your heart for people. Let Judge, Lawgiver, King move me from admiration into obedience.
