Targum: Thy beauty O King Messiah surpasses that of human children
This lesson explores how Psalm 45:2 connects to Jesus.
You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has forever blessed you.
But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom."

Targum: Thy beauty O King Messiah surpasses that of human children
Psalm 45 praises the king as most excellent, anointed with grace. Hebrews applies this directly to Jesus — the Son whose throne is eternal and whose kingdom is ruled by justice.
Lord Jesus, as I study Fairer Than the Sons of Men, anchor my identity in You, the promised King revealed from Psalm 45:2 to Hebrews 1:8.
