The Anointed One
Daniel received one of the most precise prophecies in Scripture: a timeline pointing to the arrival of the Anointed One.
Old Testament

Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.'
New Testament
John 1:41
The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ).
Why This Matters
Daniel received one of the most precise prophecies in Scripture: a timeline pointing to the arrival of the Anointed One. When Andrew found his brother Simon Peter, his words carried centuries of anticipation: 'We have found the Messiah.' The long-awaited Anointed One of Daniel's vision had come, and people recognized it.

Lord Jesus, as I study The Anointed One, anchor my identity in You, the promised King revealed from Daniel 9:25 to John 1:41.
